  • ABOUT ME

    broken image

My name is Peytan Eberle, and I attend Leland High School in San Jose, California. I have enjoyed playing soccer for as long as I can remember. I am the youngest of 4 children, with 3 older brothers. I'm in a family of soccer players; my dad was the captain of the Cal Bears Men's Soccer Team, and my mom played for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. My 2 oldest brothers played soccer at a DI and DII school respectively, and my 3rd brother, who is a senior in high school, will be playing in college as well. Soccer is my favorite sport, but I have also excelled in track and field. I compete in the 100 meter, 100 meter hurdles, high jump, and triple jump.

I would like to play soccer at the collegiate level and I work towards that goal every day. The best part of soccer is developing skills as a player, as well as becoming a person with confidence, all while doing it with some of my best friends.

Along with soccer, philanthropy has been a big part of my life. I have had the opportunity to do a lot of work for my community through The National Charity League (NCL). I was president my first year in the charity and I learned so much about organization and leadership. The NCL inspired me to plan an event on my own. I organized a $15 soccer clinic for kids ages 6-12. All the proceeds went to the victims of the California wildfires. I hope to continue with philanthropy and the game I love throughout my college career.

I enjoy fishing and boating with my family and extended family. My favorite trip is our annual house boating trip on Shasta Lake.

    Futsal Champions 2019

I have played Futsal (indoor soccer) twice a year for the last 6 years. My team consists of girls from all different outdoor club teams and we come together to win at Futsal.

I love playing sand soccer. It is a great workout. I have played many tournaments on the sands of Santa Cruz and San Francisco. Nothing gets me in shape like sand soccer.

In the winter I like snow skiing in Tahoe with my family and cousins who live in Nevada.
